For the past four years, Bill has resided in the borough of Keansburg, located in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Born in Kings County Hospital Brooklyn, New York, on August 3rd 1950, Bill explains that his interest in photography began as a child: "I was watching my black and white television one afternoon, listening to this older gentleman regale the viewers with his tales of photo excursions through the Lower East Side of Manhattan. He said that he purchased a cheep little camera when he was a child and would walk around the city taking pictures of whatever he wanted. He added that this experience had such an impact on him that he continued for the rest of his life and still loves taking pictures as much as he did in childhood. The gentleman (who’s name I cannot remember) had become a famous Photojournalist who had worked for the media all his life and achieved notoriety. He was a person of great distinction yet he spoke as a common man with an intense New York quality; that distinctive quality or way of being, that’s like an ethnicity unto it’s self. He was being honored in the twilight of his life. I remember wishing I could be like him! “ Bill served as a senior manager in New York City government for over thirty years. Starting out in the Mayors office under Ed Koch. As a result, Bill had the opportunity to serve and witness, many outstanding and creative individuals. " There are photo opportunities in everything we do because they are real life happening! Therefore, all life is important. Just imagine if we were able to recapture those very specIal moments that are lost in time forever. That makes each photograph unique because you will never get that exact moment in life again.
