Enthusiastic Film and Television Production student with a passion for film creation and editing and the film and television industry. Recently enhancing skills in: camera, lighting, sound, editing and all elements of planning and pre-production during studies within the Times Higher University of the Year. Creative highlights include:Created and edited a three-minute film for Halloween, 2013; used Sony Vegas to manipulate lighting and incorporated a range of effects. Enhanced technical skills, including importance of manual focus settings and lighting. Secured positive feedback following publication to the internet.Gained ability to create and manipulate films using software, such as Sony Vegas while filming for Severn Side Housing in 2012.Attended The Hive media arts centre in Shrewsbury in 2010 – devised and developed a creative film idea using cameras and Final Cut Pro to create a five minute film.Completed 2012 summer camp with The British Youth Film Academy; collaborated with team in creation of two short films; a horror and a comedy - gained skills in directing and editing.Recently studied issues associated with film and television narrative, plot structure, exposition, pace, rhythm, and grammar and syntax having previously enjoyed developing knowledge surrounding re-production techniques, the television and film industries, film and video editing, writing for TV and video, and presentation techniques for broadcasting via the completion of a BTEC National Diploma.Now looking to harness these, and other achievements in a challenging and rewarding environment.
