Along with five fellow runners, I co-founded RUNGRL, a digital media and events platform that provides information, inspiration and celebration for Black women distance runners.As chief content officer, I craft the editorial voice of RUNGRL.co and lead a team of contributors and creators to share authentic stories for our community. Additionally, I oversee marketing communications for the website, social media, email, special campaigns and event activations. We’ve collaborated with many influential brands in the fitness and beauty space, including HOKA, Nike, Under Armour, Fleet Feet Sports, Outdoor Voices, Essence Festival and others. Our work has been featured in Runner’s World, Washingtonian, New York Magazine, The Washington Post, AfroTech, Well+Good and more.

As a freelance communications specialist, I developed quality content for contracted businesses and brands, including copywriting, editing, event and content production, and social media management. I specialized in diverse, web-optimized content that promotes audience engagement through authenticity. Past clients included Creative Theory Agency, District Running Collective, Howard University School of Divinity and more.

As managing editor for all of the digital spaces attached to the university’s Office of Advancement, I wrote and edited a broad range of communications aimed to connect and reconnect alumni with the university. • Worked on production for the University's signature events, including Homecoming, John Carroll Weekend, Commencement and more• Created and managed content to support Georgetown’s $1.5 billion capital campaign and affiliated fundraising events, which reached its fundraising target a year ahead of the 10-year goal • Directed content for Georgetown's alumni website and various microsites, as well as social media • Produced creative for marketing campaigns, including video production, digital content and print production, and Georgetown’s events mobile app
