Researched fundamentals and developed process windows for Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI) layer transfer technologies, including Implant, Plasma Activation, Bond, Heat Treatment, and Cleave. Focused on next generation Charge Trap Layer (CTL) SOI products for 200mm and 300mm diameters.

Built transparent low-pressure bond tool to study bond wave propagation for SOI. Configured automated SPC charts and process flow / lot tracking systems. Developed finite-element model to predict selective-area growth profiles for As/P/N thin films. Gained hands-on experience with semiconductor characterization (C-V, van der Pauw/Hall, Polaron, HR-XRD, SEM, PL, CL, AFM, FTIR, LD device performance) and clean room fabrication equipment (PECVD, spin coaters, contact mask aligners, RIE, high-vacuum evaporation systems).
