Our main areas to provide advice for include, employment, immigration, and family.• Fortunate enough to build client engagement skills in an applied way by interviewing, consolidation of information, research, and communication of options. • Assisting with file preparation, researching, and written submissions.• Accompanied & actively assisted prosecutors in Court.• Followed through the arrest process & full production of a prosecution file. • This experience gave me the opportunity to developing many skills such as, courtroom etiquette, applied research, accuracy of recording and reporting, and written/verbal communication.

• Topic analysed ‘juror perceptions of complainant’s statements in the courtroom’.• My research scholarship allowed me to further develop my legal and psychological research experience, advanced my ability to communicate complex concepts, and to build good time management.

• Completed summer work alongside a wide range of individuals and departments within Fonterra, including with environmental teams to engage with legislation to ensure that consents and legal requirements are met. • This opportunity allowed me to engage with communities, develop plans to meet legal requirements, understand complex (and new) problems, and required me to be accurate in reporting, time management, and collaboration.

• Worked alongside 12 other professional NZers to be an independent voice, mediating the national debate. My role was to chair national engagements, educate and gather public opinion, and to use this information to guide the debate. Completed this in a professional manner, reporting directly to a Parliament cross-party group. • My role gave me the opportunity to evolve my oral comprehension, taught me to build client relationships, to maintain composure under pressure, develop stakeholder engagement, negotiation, thinking critically, team work by way of chairing meetings, and contribution to the common goal.

This role allowed me to design the graduate program for Xero. This included planning the events to attend, streamlining the application process, and designing the campaign.
