We will spend a year and a half of our lives just looking for something decent to watch. We are overloaded with choice. My 20+ year career has been spent helping audiences cut through that choice, bringing world class programmes to fans around the world, including some of the most popular and critically acclaimed shows of all time, and building content, branding and curation strategies that rise far above the noise and clatter. I am a transformational editorial leader, building my career with some of the world's biggest media brands, from Viacom and NBC Universal to BBC Studios. My career takes in streaming, programme strategy, commissioning, content acquisition, commercial distribution, branding and marketing.I have a strong commercial focus, specialising in developing challenger strategies that optimise spend and place bigger and better editorial bets to generate cut through. My experience is global, having led big teams (50+) in regional and central roles. Overseen editorial strategy across more than 180 markets, across multiple genres, and worked for both UK and US Studios. In recent years this includes overseeing editorial relaunch of BBC’s Branded Services portfolio globally, and successfully developing and launching a new streaming service in North America, the BBC’s first wholly branded streamer there. I was also the BBC’s editorial lead developing Britbox for global rollout. I have won numerous awards and accolades, including TBI Vision “Top 25 Deal Makers in The World” during my tenure at NBC Universal.KEY SKILLSGlobal editorial leader (180 countries)Audience and data specialist.Curation in multi-media environmentBrand building and repositioningAudio and podcastsContent acquisitionDevelopment and commissioningAward winning Executive ProducerMulti-million P&L responsibilityBoard and cross-company stakeholder managementChange leadership
