The diagnostic allows physicians to prescribe patients the most effective antibiotic in a matter of hours rather than days, as required by current culture-based methods. Our approach can be applied to a wide range of sample types and pathogens, providing a fast, comprehensive diagnostic that can lead to precise targeting of infectious disease treatment.

Resolution Bioscience is pioneering next generation cancer diagnostics that enable physicians to tailor treatments for each patient using only a blood test. Their proprietary molecular analytics platform interrogates cell-free DNA for actionable information that, until now, has only been accessible through invasive biopsy procedures. Their first application is in lung cancer where they have developed a proprietary, blood-based solution, ctDx Lung, which provides a definitive molecular diagnosis based on circulating tumor DNA.

MedTech Innovator is the medtech industry's global competition and virtual accelerator. The 2017 competition started with almost 600 companies. DZD was selected to participate in the accelerator program as part of a class of 20 companies and won the grand prize at the 2017 MedTech Conference in San Jose, CA.

ConforMIS is a medical technology company that is leading a shift in the orthopedic market towards image-based, patient-specific approaches to orthopedic implant and instrument design. The company combines highly differentiated product capabilities with a just in time delivery model based on imaging data, proprietary design software, and 3D printing / digital manufacturing techniques. I was responsible for marketing & product management, business strategy, and clinical program development. I was also a principal member of the team that supported the CEO on corporate strategy and fundraise activities. I joined as the 15th employee and left when the company had more than 250.As the head of marketing, I was responsible for all upstream and downstream marketing activities, including product strategy, new category entry, and clinical programs. I also managed our market research and market analysis activities, as well as all marketing communications and public relations activities in the US and Europe. Our marketing audiences include surgeons, consumers, hospital executives, and investors. In the strategy role, I partnered with other members of our senior team on competitive strategy, product opportunity assessment, partner negotiations and business analysis. I also played a key role on investor related communications, especially with new investors to provide them with an understanding of our strategy and business model.

Recruited as an Analyst, I advanced to Module Leader, Case Team Leader, and Global Account Manager where I was charged with leading client engagements in marketing strategy, corporate strategy and finance, and early stage venture management. While my work spanned numerous industries, I gained a strong interest in healthcare and medical technology fields. Some of my engagements included:* Delivering the marketing launch strategy for a pioneering drug eluting cardiac stent that is considered one of the most successful medical device launches in history.* Developing the corporate strategy, new market entry and technology investment approach for a leading diabetes drug delivery company looking to expand into adjacent areas of diabetes care through acquisitions and venture investments.* Designing a new organizational structure and strategic decision process for the management team of a disruptive online printing company that had grown dramatically from a startup to a publicly traded mid-sized company in a short period of time.* Contributing to the turnaround strategy for one of the largest managed care organizations after massive customer defections, including evaluation of M&A options.
