After the acquisition of Clear Software by Microsoft, Jon was responsible for the migration of the Clear Software platform into various products within Power Platform, including:• A new SAP connector for Power Automate that enabled load-balanced connections, streamlined Single Sign-On setup, provided XML support, simplified database table reads, and simplified configuration inside Power Automate's flow builder for complex SAP APIs• Merged code bases for the SAP connector for Azure Logic Apps and the Power Automate SAP connector to achieve feature parity in both products and simplified maintenance• A new on-premises data gateway that supported Kerberos delegation from Active Directory and load-balanced connections to SAP• New functions in the Logic Apps expression language to support unique data processing needs for ERP systems

Highlights include:• Designed claims check printing solution in SAP’s FS-CD for Allstate that consolidated claims operations, reduced the risk of fraud, and cut printing costs• Designed internal brokerage account system for Wachovia• Designed and coded a custom policy rating engine in C++ for Liberty Mutual

• Developed custom AutoCAD feature which implemented GM layering standards into new manufacturing planning database, had vision to spin off end product to other areas of company that found it beneficial.• Reverse-engineered new manufacturing planning database to develop additional interface that linked user to General Motors assembly time-standards database, eliminating need for vehicle developers to use two different systems. • Configured complex design for front-end sheet metal section of Arlington, TX assembly line using AutoCAD, implemented design by working closely with union workers, line managers, and maintenance supervisors.• Developed database to generate relevant industrial engineering data for each assembly line operation from plant’s master production database, significantly reducing industrial engineering team’s time to analyze an operation.• Developed training program for industrial engineering team to submit error-proofing procedures to company website which shares ideas among assembly plants, then saw Arlington plant become largest contributor in corporation for innovative ideas.• Completed very open-ended project that mathematically modeled relationships between quality, ergonomics, productivity, and medical incidents using assembly plant data and many other resources to justify organizational spending on ergonomics program.
