Jon Gosier is the founder of investment firm and family office Southbox Capital (d/b/a Gosier Holdings). Southbox has a diverse portfolio of assets spanning a credit facility, tech investments, real estate, and venture capital totaling more than $200M in value. In 2024 his company Audigent was acquired by Experian for nine figures.Jon has executive producerd more than 12 feature films theatrically and on streaming channels like Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and other platforms. He is the Founder and CEO of FilmHedge. FilmHedge's core mission is to build a financial data and credit system for Hollywood and to use that data on behalf of financial institutions to make better decisions, reduce risk, and generate outsized returns for lenders. FilmHedge and its partners have allocated more than $300 million to more than 80 feature films and scripted series since 2020. His 2014 TEDTalk about ethical innovation has been viewed millions of times. Jon was named one of 'the new faces of Black Leadership' by TIME Magazine in 2015. Previously he was the Founder and former CEO of Audigent (Acquired by Experian), at the time named one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the country by INC5000, Financial Times, and Deloitte. Before that, he was best known for working in crisis response and counterintelligence in East Africa. While living in Uganda, co-founded various organizations in Africa, including AfriLabs (a network of tech innovation hubs that now reaches 90+ cities), Appfrica (a tech consultancy that serviced Google, Facebook, and Twitter); was a former Director at Ushahidi (which is estimated to have reached more than 25 million people with its open-source software). The White House lauded his work in these areas in 2010, 2012, and 2013.He is an alumnus of Savannah College of Art and Design and the THNK School of Creative Leadership and Innovation.
