I also received endorsements from Council Member Lisa Herbold, Council Member Kshama Sawant, SEIU 6, UAW 4121, and others. Our campaign raised $360,000 from over four thousands unique.
As Outreach Director I recruited community based organizations throughout the state to support the passage of I-1433 to raise the state minimum wage and pass paid sick and safe leave for all Washington workers. The initiative won with over 60% of the vote, positively impacting the lives of over 1 million workers. I also supported the signature gathering.
