I’ve had the privilege of doing that for 30+ years, leading retail, omnichannel, and nonprofit organizations to deliver more than they thought possible [or to achieve objectives] in challenging circumstances. When you connect the potential of each team member to the potential of the organization, great things happen. I most recently served as Director of Stores for Kohl’s, overseeing 1,170 locations and leading the Asset Protection, Merchandise & Visual Presentation, and Store Operations & Experience divisions. Collaborating closely with the Board, CEO, and executive team in a series of key leadership roles, I helped improve core operating performance and transform Kohl’s customer experience. Together, we created a culture of ownership that engaged more than 100,000 associates, navigating periods of growth and unprecedented business cycles. And we forged many successful ventures along the way, including the partnerships with Amazon and Sephora.Before my tenure at Kohl's, I served in leadership roles at Macy's, including Regional Vice President of store operations at locations on the East Coast and Puerto Rico.In 2021, I was honored to be named Chairperson of the Board of the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) after serving on the board for three years. I also chaired the Honor & Integrity Committee and serve as a board member of The Pennsylvania State University Smeal College of Business, providing insights and advice on operating challenges. And I enjoy speaking as a guest lecturer for the university’s graduate and undergraduate programs, helping students understand the connection between leadership and business performance.
