Love new challenges, providing value and working and helping at getting things done.Working full-time as a consultant (Certified) and looking for further challenging consulting projects or a corporate governance role as a director on board(s) (Ascertained Board Member from UNI).Extensive experience in Management Consulting, International Marketing/Business and Strategy Formulation as well as hands-on General Management, Accounting, Finances etc. in SMEs and entrepreneurial companies.Probably (so far) the largest (in scope) projects managed or that I've been part of, were participating in establishing the Promote Iceland Office, and being on the Project Management Team of "Inspired by Iceland" - a public/private international tourism marketing effort initiated following two volcanic eruptions in Iceland in 2010 (see more below).Taught Marketing, Marketing Planning and International Marketing & Business at the University of Iceland and the University of Reykjavik.Project Manager on behalf of the Ministry of Transport & Tourism on developing and publishing the Tourism Action Plan for the years 2006-2015 - another big and enjoyable project.In short, my specialities are: Local and international strategic business; Business planning for companies, municipalities and government bodies; Consulting to Management on Organisational Change, Corporate Governance, Equal Pay Systems, Business, Strategy, Management, Leadership, Finance, Marketing, Exporting, Planning, Entrepreneurship, Start-Ups, etc. (Phew... - I was thinking of leaving something out, but decided against it - all are kind of "been there, done that" things)
