I am a computational chemist specializing in identifying small-molecule modulators using advanced computational chemistry techniques. My primary expertise lies in understanding the complex nature of protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions (PPIs, PLIs) through a quantum mechanical(QM) method. This enables the identification of novel "hot spots" in potential drug-binding sites for new therapeutic targets, providing critical insights for designing potent small-molecule drugs, even for "undruggable" targets.My research experience in extensive therapeutic targets with computational structure-based drug design has honed my ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, addressing complex challenges in hit compound identification for challenging therapeutic targets. Currently, I am working on a project to discover novel modulators targeting a dynamic conformational state of a kinase using ultra-large-scale virtual screening at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.Specialties: Hot-spot identification using the FMO method, design of small-molecule modulators, structure-based drug discovery, and optimization, ultra-large-scale virtual screening on AWS.
