Dr. Jongwon majored Sports Performance Analysis at Middlesex University with his supervisor Nic James, who is a head of ISPAS(International Society of Performance Analysis of Sport). He presented abstracts of the different studies at 7 world conferences and published five papers in SCI journals and 14 KCI journals. He is also teaching 'Performance Analysis' at the MSc Sport Performance Analysis' course and helping students for advising a dissertation.He had a lot of experience with professional football clubs (Barnet FC, London Bees Ladies FC, Charlton Athletic FC and Crystal Palace FC) as a performance analyst working with various age groups. Further experiences include football editor (Goal.com) to write match reports on all Tottenham Hotspur matches including interviewing Son Heung-Min after each match as well as translating a football tactical analysis book into Korean for a publishing company.Now he is working for Bepro11, AI sports company providing video and data to the football clubs, as a data scientist. He is currently responsible for developing metrics that can be applied in real football scenarios, and he collaborates with numerous teams worldwide, including those in the Premier League, La Liga, and the Bundesliga, etc to conduct football data analysis.
