Kevin (Jongwon) Noh is a President and CEO at Solidigm.Kevin started his career in SK Telecom since 2003, and played leading roles in various M&A deals and strategic partnerships including the acquisition of hynix, the world’s second largest memory chipmaker, in 2012, which was one of the symbolic acquisitions done by SK Group.After that, he directly spearheaded TMC (Toshiba Memory Corp., which now known as Kioxia) deal in 2018, a significant and strategic transaction for SK hynix. He also successfully led the acquisition of ADT Caps Korea, and signed partnership to launch a new music platform with South Korea’s most prominent entertainment labels namely, S.M. Entertainment, JYP, and Big Hit Entertainment in 2018.In late 2018, just right after the investment on TMC, he transitioned to SK hynix as Chief Strategy Officer, and extended his role to Chief Finance Officer in 2020. He has led the acquisition of Intel’s NAND business division worth $9B dollars, from 2020 to 2021, and it has been the largest acquisition in the history of M&A in Korea as a crossborder deal, The division has been transformed to Solidigm, focusing on enterprise solutions business, as one of SK hynix’s key subsidiaries.He became a president at SK hynix in 2022, and led several functions including Sales and Marketing, Corporate Strategy and Corporate Development.After being appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Solidigm in 2023, he drives operational excellency of Solidigm and he is also focused on PMI process on it.He holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering from Seoul National University where he also completed the Ph. D program (ABD). He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology).
