**I am presently in pursuit of a faculty position as an Assistant Professor, postdoctoral scholar, or education research opportunity with a focus in special or d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing (d/DHH) education. **As a Graduate Research Associate at Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities (FCBDD) and a Ph.D. Student at The Ohio State University, I am passionate about advancing the field of special education for deaf and hard of hearing learners. With over 5 years of work experience in various roles and settings, I have developed and contributed to multiple materials, programs, and projects that aim to improve the quality of deaf education and support for this population. Some of my past experiences include serving as an Advisory Board Member at the National Library for the Disabled, a Program Specialist at the Korean Institute of Special Education and the National Education Support Center for the Hearing Impaired, and a Graduate Administrative Associate at Dankook University. I have also participated in the Global Challenges of Youth with Disabilities International Study Program funded by Shinhan Financial Group. I have gained valuable insights and perspectives on the issues and opportunities facing this community. I possess strong skills in SPSS, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and interactive applications such as Thinglink and Flip. I equipped myself to get core competencies in research, communication, collaboration, and innovation. I’m pursuing to be an accessibility advocate. My mission is to apply my knowledge, skills, and values to create positive impact and change for deaf and hard of hearing learners and their families.
