I was hand-picked by the Director of Bancassurance to design and deliver a robust development strategy for existing Regional Managers. This involved a complete overhaul of all existing management tools and processes. I then had the responsibility of delivering this strategy to a Divisional team. This involved extensive change management, coaching, mentoring and training. Following evaluation, the performance had improved by 18% vs a target improvement of 10%.
I enjoyed consistent success in managing various sales teams of up to 15 financial advisers, in pursuit of their sales targets. This was completed during a time of unprecedented change in the economy, the industry and the Bank. This required strong, efficient leadership throught this tumultuous period of change.
I led a team of Private Banking Managers to successful achievement of their sales and service targets. This involved starting a brand new team, from recruitment through to developing their skills further. The position also involved a great deal of corporate hospitality with 'high net worth' customers, creating relationships and trust in the company, brand and investment opportunities.
I was employed as a Senior Trainer within the Training/HR function. I worked extensively on all aspects of the training/development cycle. I had responsibility for the redesign and delivery of the sales managers & supervisors induction program. During a change of third party supplier, I was selected from the pool of trainers to lead the sales managers through this change. I developed and designed a development program which was subsequently used nationally to ensure that every role in the organisation had a specific development plan. I designed, delivered and evaluated this.
