Creative manager for this national foundation, which included writing and designing publications, radio and TV appearances, and authoring magazine articles with a readership of 500,000+. Also, served as Grant Administrator for the Clean Water Grants program, an annual small grants program which funds environmental projects by boaters throughout the United States.

Sold magazine articles to national sailing publications such as Cruising World and Sail Magazines, as well as regional publications such as Heartland Boating and the Fort Myers News Press. Wrote a monthly column "Down by the River" for a local Fort Myers magazine. Additionally, was a staff writer for a technology communications company headquartered in Loveland, Colorado.
