Responsibilities:• Help with the coordination of the infrastructure request and act as liaison between the Pearson Technology team and the Software Development teams with the intent of producing faster and better out comes especially in times of incident management.• Help software teams with needs in regards to BigIP load balancers, decommission, firewall, networking, DNS, SSL requests, as well as any other infrastructure requests as required.• Assist with the migration to AWS for the Q-global and Q-interactive platforms performing all task required during this transition.• Provide operational support to Q-global and Q-interactive as well as any other products as needed.• Help communicate, organize, and coordinate deployments for the Q-global and Q-interactive platforms during scheduled releases as well as out of cycle releases.• Participate in CAB for change requests related to the Q-global and Q-interactive platforms to facilitate quick turn around of requested items for their respective products.• Provide operational documentation to help with recording of events such as outages and decommissions.• Study, learn, and expand knowledge of multiple different privacy compliance laws for PII/PHI such as HIPAA, PIPEDA, etc. and server as a resource for the software development team can use for guidance.• Help give direction and recommendations to the various team members in regards to privacy concerns as well as security concerns.• Perform tasks required in regards to security concerns such as documentation, questionnaires, team interfacing, incident resolution, etc.Accomplishments:• Provided support to Pearson Clinical products maintaining over 99% availability to customers.• Successfully coordinated and executed quarterly deployments and others as needed. • Helped to successfully migration Pearson Clinical's flagship products Q-global and Q-interactive to the AWS cloud out of legacy datacenter.
