As a matter of career interest, my experience is somewhat unique having been involved in project and financial management, I've always been that person people will go to for help to get things done. In my current position I am responsible for managing the IT Project Management Organization and Portfolio Management reporting directly to the CIO. This includes partnering with the finance teams in managing the budget process, and managing key program initiatives and building partnerships. I look for continuous improvements and development opportunities to our project management processes and team, and monitor projects and key performance metrics. My time aligns with the overall enterprise priorities and initiatives needed to coordinate the projects to reach specific goals. Previous experience includes a concentration on cost analysis, pricing models for project management teams, procurement and forecasting. Additionally, I worked closely with our HR Account Lead on capacity management , DEI, and compliance. My main strengths are in relationship building and executing. From a procurement and relationship building perspective, I worked with vendors and assisted in contract initiation.I’ve been fortunate to utilize all of these skills in my current position and managed to learn and retain some new ones along my way! I love to share my knowledge with others to see their faces light up when they “get it”. My favorite activities are done outdoors. Born and raised in New England, it has amazing places to explore. I am an avid hiker and dendrophile exploring trails with my dogs. Besides my husband and my children, I’m passionate about my Irish Wolfhounds, and they are always by my side as I never go too far without them. My husband and I previously owned a small successful restaurant for 17 years which was an amazing experience. As a true foodie and accomplished chef, I continue to enjoy a variety of foods and love to experiment with new ingredients. My favorite dishes are influenced by French and Mediterranean cuisine.
