About Joni Trythall

I've been designing and obsessing over experience details long before I knew it was a real job I could do at a place with a fish logo.I'm a brand strategist and project manager at a growing agency I started seven years ago. I've loved my roles as front-end, product, UX, and marketing designers. Most of all, I love fostering genuine and friendly brand experiences at every touchpoint and taking the mystery out of the design process. I'm a natural researcher and problem solver, and it's important to me that everyone enjoys our collaboration. I bring unmatched enthusiasm to all my projects–the most extroverted introvert you'll ever meet.In my previous life, I went to school and worked in the nonprofit space. While I found this work fulfilling, my design-related tasks and love of post-its ultimately won me over. I've learned that this time as a program manager and grant writer made me a better designer and process manager–from better writing and communication skills to more patience and understanding. Design is about so much more than aesthetics, and I wouldn't change a thing about my path here.Outside of work, my favorite hobby has always been getting into hobbies. I'm enthusiastic about allergy-free baking and have been (wrongly) accused of having too many houseplants. I raise and release around 70 monarch butterflies each year and house 400+ leafcutter bees.I'm happy to chat about teaming up or your latest hobby–let's have coffee calendly.com/jonitrythall
