Management and development of the Corporate GIS function. Currently responsible for GIS Projects.Notable Recent Projects:- ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Online Implementation. This included developing and implementing an internal portal using FlexViewer and a public facing portal using AGOL maps and apps.- For the Environment Section I recently defined and implemented a common streamlined approach to capturing national Litter Quantity and Pollution surveys using ArcGIS Collector and FME. Time savings have been estimated at 80% and the solution has attracted much attention. It now has the potential to form a new standard with the DECLG - During the amalgamation of Waterford City and County Council (2013 - 2015) I defined and implemented a spatial data strategy to manage the alignment of 100’s of sets of spatial data to form one source of truth- 2013 to 2014 seconded part time to the Water Services Transition Office (WSTO), to assist Local Authorities during Water Sector reform and the setting up of Irish Water. Provided technical knowledge and coordinated with LA GIS Sections to review, understand and migrate their data. I also provided detailed analytical assistance to summarise and monitor the huge volumes of data that were passing from LA’s to Irish Water Programme, via WSTO.
