    I was accountable for the Field Development of Big Lake, the largest Field Development in the Cooper Basin in 2014. It included the construction of 34 wells, associated trunklines and gathering systems to the point of the satellite inlets. The role integrated functions across the Eastern Australian Gas Business, Technical Services and Drilling and Completions and had a budget of approximately $300M. At it's production peak, this project was delivering over 12% of the total gas production for Santos in the Cooper Basin.

    I led the introduction of multi well pads using simultaneous operations in the Cooper Basin to significantly decrease ongoing development capital outlays. This was designed to enable a wider infill program planned as a $5Bn investment over 5-10 years. The onshore implementation of simultaneous operations in the Cooper Basin was an Australian first project. The project was complex, involving over 450 people to develop solutions, and managing over 750 people through the execution of the project. This complexity included the investigation of over 850 initiatives through to the point of effective, ground level change. The project was very successful and delivered zero reportable EHS incidents, like for like cost reduction of approx $30M, high execution quality and the project was brought online ahead of schedule.
