Business Analytics-Manage a team using data to develop and implement business strategies and create tools to move our teams forward throughout the organization.Pricing – •Determine theory and implementation of our pricing methodology for all items in our catalog•Set price review schedule and determined what items need to be reviewed with what frequency to confirm prices are keep at a market level•Look for pricing shifts in products or product lines over time•Determine market value to maximize short inventory•Set direction for how our online pricing systems are to be reviewed and confirmed weekly•Monitor and set weekly specials based on inventory levels, average price and demand shifts•Established Strategy on moving overall company margins up over timePurchasing-•Establish strategy on inventory target par levels, reorder points and what quantities to order at reorder time•Set and review Limited inventory items based on supply and demand shifts•Develop and implement strategy on speculative buying program on potential high demand or hard to get items•Review catalog bi-annually to look for dead inventory and opportunities to accentuate or eliminate items.•Review contracts to maximize price decreases through sales promotions and ensure company protection on price increases.•Monitor sales activities daily on sudden demand shifts that could indicate supply issues with one or multiple items.Warehouse Operations•Overall Accountability for Distribution performance•Installation of Metric driven Key performance indicators•Review Metrics on staff performance through use of key performance indicators vs. their peers•Review Scheduling to ensure proper manpower is scheduled at proper times•Review Shipping expenses to look for ways to reduce expense•Meet with vendors to discuss improvements or opportunities inside distribution facility
