SQC is an Australian technology company at the forefront of the global race to build a quantum computer. Working with a team of experienced and highly capable franchise banking specialists to deliver best in market service and support to franchisors, franchises and other stakeholders in the Australian Franchising sector. Although a late entrant to the specialised franchise banking arena, Australia's biggest business bank, NAB, has built capability to provide service and support to systems and franchisees and is now engaging with a 'top to bottom' approach to franchise systems with the goal of becoming a major player in this space. My role includes providing leadership and strategic insight, and leading engagement with corporate and institutional franchisor clients.

I led a national team of Corporate Finance professionals working with bankers in NAB's Corporate and Specialised Businesses to increase strategic dialogue with and provide insight and solutions to NAB clients and target clients, with a focus on origination of new corporate activity.

We're focused on delivering the right funding and banking solutions as trusted adviser to our clients, providing great service in an authentic and respectful fashion and on growing our relationships.

I worked in all aspects of EY’s full service corporate finance and M&A lead advisory practice, identifying and executing transactional opportunities, liaising with investors, private equity and acquirers, running processes, mentoring junior staff and providing intra-firm support, liaison and assistance.The principal focus of my activity was mid-market private and small listed businesses and private equity.

I joined CSIRO as part of a new team to improve the organisation’s commercialisation of technologies and own commercial activity. During my time there, I created several technology start-ups and multiple strategic licensing transactions. I also innovated and rolled out new commercial advisory, operational and governance processes. I also led organisational engagement on several strategic transactions, joint ventures and tech development programs.

At Ignite, I joined two partners in a new venture advisory business. I led the operations of the business over three years, building a small team of analysts. I identified, pitched and engaged clients, completing more than a dozen strategic transactions, including multiple private capital raisings. Clients/deal were predominately in technology and biotechnology, but also included asset leasing and media/publishing.

I worked in the Corporate and PE groups at PWRWG and specialized in Corporate and Securities Law, strategic transactions, PE investment and divestment, fund formation and related commercial activity (including employment law, ESOPs, supply contracts, divestments, bolt-on acquisitions, and more)

I commenced professional life as a solicitor in Sydney, spending time in the Finance and Tax and Corporate departments at Allens. I completed numerous transactions for significant clients, provided advice and insight on legal and related commercial issues. I was recognised for my work in derivatives.
