Setup a testing lab using ASTM standards to test our products to Military Specifications. Trained all engineers to use advanced methods in Solidworks and developed 3D printing to facilitate internal rapid prototyping. Through cross functional collaboration streamlined all parts of the division from accounting, sales, purchasing, and manufacturing. Managed the development of a robust cost accounting system that tracks costs and efficiencies on every order. These efforts resulted in an increase in the division’s pretax profit to 20%. Managed a cross functional team of sales and marketing personnel to setup a new direct sales force targeting key accounts and using trade shows to generate leads and create a system to hear the voice of the customer. This culminated in a 35% increase in sales. By listening to our customers developed and patented the Sentinel product line.
