Jon joined Tenzing Insurance Strategies in early 2019, adding to a career in the life insurance industry that spans three decades. Joining Northwestern Mutual Life in 1994, Jon was honored as his agency’s top producing new agent, focusing on the use of life insurance for businesses in the areas of key employee retention and succession planning. Jon joined an M Financial Group firm in New York City, where his work expanded into the areas of estate planning and wealth transfer for affluent families. After moving to the Boston area, Jon continued to work with families, adding charitable planning to his growing repertoire.Jon regularly attends national training sessions that showcase new estate planning techniques and technology advances. He is working toward the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). He is a member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU) and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). Over the years he has achieved success earning annual acknowledgments and has often been asked to mentor newer agents/advisors in the field. He gets satisfaction from helping improve his clients’ security for their families and enabling them to follow through with their vision of how to use their wealth for the greater benefit of the community.Jon lives in Newton, MA and enjoys traveling with his adult son and daughter whenever time permits.
