Direct management of doctoral-level safety scientists; senior department and therapeutic leader, with a primary role in guiding internal and external strategy and priorities. Project team representative and/or team leader, giving guidance and ensuring nonclinical safety representation on teams. Subject matter expert, representing the company externally with health authorities, within consortia, and via peer-reviewed publications.

• Supporting a diverse number of therapeutic areas (oncology, immunology, neuroscience and infectious disease) on multiple small- and large molecule project teams from hit-to-lead through clinical development. Responsibilities include lead optimization and candidate selection, design and execution of IND- and NDA-enabling preclinical safety studies, and authoring of relevant regulatory documents. • As subteam leader, responsible for execution and delivery of IND-enabling activities and timelines across the relevant disciplines (ie Safety, DMPK, Pharmaceutics, CMC)
