Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile.I have a passion for personal and people development and for helping others, particularly my children, to lead happy and fulfilling lives.Following a successful corporate career that started as a junior accountant and ended as an I.T. and Project manager, I was enticed into the world of business ownership when I was offered a share of a scooter dealership in London’s Notting Hill. I’d been looking into starting my own business for some time but, like many people with a successful career, I didn't want to give up a relatively secure, regular income. It’s crazy when I look back at that thinking given that I’d already been made redundant in the past!However, as I knew my level of income was not going to drop I took the plunge and went into business. It was a baptism of fire and one that I fully enjoyed. However, it was somewhat short lived because having planned to have another child my wife and I found out that we were going to have triplets!Following their birth I took a year out to help with what was a full-on, crazy, nappy changing, feeding, winding, roller-coaster of a challenge. In 2006 a ticket to a franchise exhibition fell into my lap and I decided to go... just for ideas. Under the influence of sleep deprivation, I found myself the owner of a franchise selling online advertising and marketing to local businesses. During this time it became apparent that I had a knack of understanding and improving other people’s businesses and processes and that I could provide value to others on a freelance basis. Ultimately and for a number of reasons, I lost faith in what we were selling with the franchise but I had met a large number of people and many remain friends and colleagues to this day. One client in particular, a highly respected medical professional, introduced me to the world of direct sales. I am now building a global business, in the world's largest industry, alongside working freelance.
