Andrew Freeman and I purchased several self storage facilities in 2016 and have since grown the KO Storage brand to a top 20 operator in the country with 230+ stores spanning 8.5M+ sq ft across 24+ states. Our team has a deep understanding of the self-storage industry, the supporting technologies and have had great success in implementing repeatable processes to run profitable and efficient facilities. We are actively scaling our portfolio with a focus on the fragmented secondary and tertiary markets, and plan to continue to aggressively grow both through acquisition and new construction.I co-founded AJ Wholesale/Powerplay Retail-Direct with Andrew Freeman in 2016. We subsequently scaled this business from a side hustle in our apartments to a leading nationwide Amazon 3rd party seller doing in excess of $70M in annual revenue before exiting in March of 2023.Additionally, I lead NoSweat through the early startup phase as COO and CFO. I played an integral role in building several private placement memorandums, raising seed capital and building/scaling the manufacturing, operations, marketing and sales of the company from $30k to over $1M in annual sales.Finally, I have over 10 years of residential real estate acquisition, development and investment experience and am a partner in Trimac Rentals where we acquired/developed and dispositioned a portfolio of approximately 175 rental units across central Wisconsin.Prior to these endeavors, I worked for 4.5 years as a technology consultant at Deloitte in digital media and healthcare industries.
