Until 2005, my position at Living Hope Church had been varied and creative. In the early years I was responsible for all ministries from nursery through high school. As our staff grew my role became more specific. I even did a short stint as interim Sr. Pastor in 1993. Today, my role is primarily the development and oversight of our Small Groups and Spiritual Growth of our Adults. I also have the privilege of preaching about 40% of the year.

My role as Associate Pastor involved many of the typical responsibilities such as, pre-marital and marital counseling, building and plant oversight including obsolescence and remodeling plans, oversight of youth pastor and college ministry director, I.T. and Tech Crew director, Small Groups Ministry for adults, C.E. of Adults, and pastoral liaison to the finance committee.

As with most church ministry staff environments, my work as youth pastor has always been coupled with my work as an Associate Pastor.As youth pastor my role consisted of comprehensive pastoral leadership of teens, adult volunteers and parents. I was involved in camp ministry and development for 13 years. I led 6 overseas short-term missions trips, led two outdoor music festivals, developed and maintained a staff of 10 to 15 volunteer adult leaders and experienced the pleasure of watching 19 teens and young adult leaders later pursue a life of ministry.
