Played key role in building Malwarebytes cloud infrastructure joining during the early startup phase.Projects include:• Updates System - designed, architected, iterated and improved on the core infrastructure updates system that handles 100 million+ client check-ins daily ensuring all clients receive up to date anti-malware definitions and program updates. Optimizations have allowed system to scale and save the company hundreds of thousands of dollars per year compared to originally launched system.• Messaging System - designed, architected, and built system to allow sales and marketing teams to push custom in-app messaging to all of Malwarebytes client programs.• Licensing System - Built key pieces that handled gathering data and metrics from usage of our licensing system; built key migration system to handle migrating users from old key format to new key format.• Cloud Platform - Architected and built early prototype to manage and control software protection suite from a centralized cloud platform. Awarded patent for work.• Analytics System - Built UI and frontend for early-stage telemetry metrics system that analyzed usage patterns for millions of clients.Participated in wide range of roles from working solo self-managed projects to technical team lead working with small agile development teams of 5-10 developers, QA, and PM. Worked with a versatile set of programming languages including PHP/Symfony, Ruby on Rails, Golang, and ReactJS; always maintaining high code quality through thoroughly unit-tested code.
