I headed up the marketing and communications team in Barnstaple for North Devon Hospice. I was responsibility for internal and external communications.

I was responsible for the tactical leadership for communications, marketing, engagement and public affairs activities for a Trust that serves a population of over 1 million people and has over 4,500 staff. I provided advice, expertise and supported the planning of both external and internal communications, maximising opportunities to promote the Trust's.

I had responsibility for the Hospice's marketing and communication activity and was a member of our senior management team. We needed to raise over £4 million each year in charitable income and also generate awareness of our services to people across South West Hertfordshire. I managed and was responsible for all communication channels including printed.

I worked for the fundraising team and was responsible for the Hospice’s internal and external communications and helped to ensure that the Hospice raised the £4 million it needed each year in charitable income to run its services. I contributed both strategically and operationally to the Peace Hospice’s overall strategy and helped to raise the Hospice’s.
