Mechanical EngineerDesigned and optimized electrode spray cooling to limit EAF electrode consumption. - Reduced by approximately 0.45 lbs./ton (approx. $800,000 yearly savings) Organized equipment improvement team to maximize efficient collaboration between maintenance, operations, and engineering. - Specific pieces of equipment were chosen to focus on to mitigate downtime due to equipment failures or operational issues. The team collaboration resulted in a decrease of greater than 50% compared to the prior two years of production. Initiated a process improvement team to focus improvements on chemical and process equipment variables to control emissions effectively and optimize alloy, oxygen, carbon, and natural gas injection in the steel making process. I complete the chain between Husqvarna dealers and Husqvarna by assisting with their warranty questions, warranty processing, and resolving critical issues in an efficient matter to benefit both the dealers and customers. I have also gained valuable knowledge of Husqvarna's product line through training and work experience.

I finish ground diamond tipped specialty lathe tools on a manual wet grinder and some experience utilizing CNC mills, lathes, and EDM machines to manufacture tools, tool holders, and tool shanks.
