Jonathon “Jon” Miller is a CPA and the Managing Member of Private Tax Solutions, a successful US cloud accounting and tax advisory firm. Jon advises the private equity, real estate, and emerging wealth industries in developing financial and tax strategies necessary to achieve their unique goals. Jon has developed proprietary cash flow and tax planning tools for recipients of complex compensation structures like incentive stock options, restricted stock, and ESPPs. Jon has successfully represented hundreds of individuals and companies before the IRS and the US Tax Court to resolve difficult and complicated tax matters. Jon’s father served in the Air Force while Jon spent his days watching the best pilots in the world fly top-secret aircraft. Jon looked up at the sky and came to know and respect the people who flew fighter planes. Jon planned to be a test pilot but an untimely leg injury put Jon on another course.Although Jon didn’t become an Air Force Aviator, Jon’s career followed the path only dreamed of by young finance and accounting professionals. Jon was recruited to PwC right out of college and advanced to the Director level. Jon has worked as a Senior Manager, a Director, and a Partner in several prominent accounting firms while working at two of the Big 4 accounting firms and a regional CPA firm.Jon discovered entrepreneurship and finance while being mentored by some of the most recognized accounting educators at Brigham Young University (BYU). While attending BYU, Jon started his first entrepreneurial venture to fund his college education. He balanced managing a business and academics with great success.Jon has served as the CEO of several technology companies. He coaches and mentors entrepreneurs throughout the world.
