I have been instrumental in the introduction of ground-breaking technologies (such as Apple’s iOS platform) to the corporate environment which will be fundamental to the future success of Tube Lines IT and its capacity to meet the demands of the end user in a secure and supportable way.Key Achievements:• Developed Tube Lines’ mobile working strategy and subsequently developed and delivered solution, based on Apple iPhones and iPads, with full corporate network connectivity to be scaled up to approximately 1000 mobile workers.• Project managed delivery of SharePoint 2010 upgrade and migration of corporate intranet to the new platform.• Scoped, designed and delivered implementation of IT reporting tool using SharePoint to provide customer-facing real time dashboards for all IT service areas that can be accessed anywhere, including from mobile devices.• Project managed implementation of new SAN and successful migration of 15TB of user data.• Defined and implemented a project pipeline and governance model which captures risk, issues and project dependencies to help drive stakeholder expectation and prioritisation. • Delivered a number of work streams in an Enterprise 2.0 technology refresh programme acknowledged by Microsoft as a first in Europe, including full desktop rollout to a user base of 2500+ employees across 100 locations. • Responsible for managing IT resources including time and delivery against multiple IT projects and providing an escalation path to project managers and service delivery teams. -
