CurrentMy role is develop and grow Pontoon's UK MSP/Services Procurement presence in its key vertical markets. The UK business was branded as Hyphen Resourcing prior to its merger with Pontoon in 2017. Post merger, Pontoon initially focussed on business vertical specific globalised marketing/development over geography specific. This has resulted in limited UK brand recognition, despite an impressive portfolio of world leading customers under our management, and a first class delivery model that includes market leading direct source capability that delivers up to 85% fulfilment. Pontoon's core operating models receive an average 59 NPS score rating by customers (2023), which reflects our commitment to delivering service excellence. Pontoon is also proud to be part of the broader Adecco Group, whose vision is to 'make the future work for everyone'. Our position in group ensures our customers have unique access to a wide range of traditional and emerging talent solutions, and associated market insights.My role encompasses full end-to-end business development of MSP contracts , from identifying and prospecting potential customers, understanding their motivations and objectives and outlining Pontoon's value to them at pitch and bid, through to finalist presentations and contract negotiations.I have also created various buyer guides and pricing workbooks to raise Pontoon's profile and support buyers as they review their external workforce arrangements, for example the MSP guide attached below. Overall responsibility for UK sales. 2 direct reports. Responsible for over 150 customer wins from initial conversation to contract finalisation in the following markets: Business Services, Technology, FMCG, Local Government, Central Government, NHS. Contract values from £1m to £50m per annum The key focus of my role was to maximise Comensura's ability to win new business in the public and private sectors. I led a successful market diversification strategy that resulted in Comensura's customer base shifting from 98/2 Public /Private Sector to 50/50 over an 8 year period. Comensura developed a presence in 12 markets including: Media, Telecoms, Business Services, Waste Management, Healthcare, Rail, Local Government, Central Government, Housing, Charities, Retail Insurance, and Logistics.To get Comensura to its current position required market scanning, product development and successful business case presentation to secure investment, followed by active support for the implementation of a number of key projects in order to create agility, possibility, differentiation and competitive advantage. I identified the need to adapt our business model to accommodate the needs of different customer markets, including the re-design and rebuild of our technology proposition for prospect customers in both blue collar private sector and white collar professional markets. The subsequent build was also designed to streamline existing processes and maximise resource capacity. Based on our success in adapting our model for new markets, I created a revised product portfolio to position the different service models that Comensura offers with our traditional model branded as Classic, new agile models as Adaptive and a technology option created as Essential. A separate product 'Select' was created to reflect other services available, such as payroll management, statement of work etc.
