As an electrical engineer at ScriptPro I was involved in design, test, and debug of mixed signal custom electronics to support the company's pharmacy automation equipment. I was in charge of part specification, schematic capture, HDL design (for FPGA), some embedded C coding, and was responsible for regulatory compliance of my designs. Close coordination with PCB designers, embedded software engineers, PC application engineers, mechanical engineers, and field operation specialists made ScriptPro projects a highly coordinated effort.

As a design engineer at Atmel I designed, tested, and debugged digital multimedia ASIC’s using Verilog and Cadence simulation tools. I troubleshot chips in a lab setting by editing firmware to aid the software design team. I also wrote product data sheets for these ASIC devices.

At Transcrypt I was responsible for taking a product through it’s full life cycle. I drove products from concept through research and development, design, manufacturing, field test, product certification, and customer support in the field. Accomplishments included the development and test of software for DSP’s, programmable logic devices, and PC’s, including a wide variety of system level hardware tasks such as printed circuit board design and the specification for design or purchase of all components in the system. I generated product manuals, assembly instructions for manufacturing, and trouble-shooting guides, all with adherence to ISO-9001 certification for our company in mind. I was responsible for FCC and CE Mark regulatory compliance testing.
