I have served as Operations Director of SOLO Laboratories, making sure that things run smoothly and that we are manufacturing a high quality product in a reasonable amount of time. More recently, I have transitioned to a more technical, research and development role where the focus is on incorporating new tech into our processes.SOLO Labs makes fully custom orthotics, which differentiates us from many other labs that pull from a library of products. They measure foot length, arch height and heel measurements, and basically pull either a close fit orthotic or close fit cast. We, however, correct each orthotic to ensure a perfect fit.We have a very good customer service department. I know everyone says that, but we pride ourselves on seeing to it that every customer gets great results, and we also treat everyone with respect with a genuine smile on our faces.I have a strong engineering background and have done a bit of programming, so when I work with our team I’m sensitive to what’s needed, and I can help from a technology standpoint. I’m involved with process improvements bringing them into the modern era (without sacrificing the personal touch) and with a much higher level of efficiency.I’m the proud father of eight and take great pride in balancing work and family. I help with my kid’s school work as needed in subjects like math, chemistry and physics. My wife, however, does the bulk of the teaching. Our kids are involved with sports, and I have the benefit of attending most of their games and meets.SOLO Labs is a great place to work.
