Saraste 2012 was a district scout camp for all scouts and guides - and their non-scouting friends - in the entire Helsinki Metropolitan Area. With over 4'400 participants (of which 400+ non-scouts) it was the largest Finnish scouting event in 2012. Event was planned and executed on a voluntary work basis.As a Programme Director, responsible for - structuring a 9-day programme for all 4'400 participants- designing a structure for a programme organization of 400+ people- initiating and driving recruitment to man the organization- leading directly a group of 8 Programme Managers, each heading organization of 20-150 people- acting as a spokesman for the camp and the preceding planning project in a number of events between fall 2010 and summer 2012- being a member of the Camp Committee, actively contributing to all major decisions that determined the strategic direction of the project
