As a Product Design Mentor at Designlab, I mentor students through a UX/UI Design Bootcamp, guide them to design case studies, inspire them in building exceptional portfolios, and ultimately mobilize them to get an entry-level UX/UI Design job. My favorite part about this position is that aside from mentoring, I'm getting to learn from my students, training me to stay on top of trends and become a better designer.

As a Freelance Product Designer, I team up with e-commerce brands and Shopify agencies to either design new features from scratch or use their existing design systems to update designs in Figma. With my background as an Operations Director in e-commerce, I understand the business side and the importance of fast, creative design. A startup mobile app I cofounded with my best friend. Since the birth of the company, we added one more cofounder to the team to help with development and marketing. The app itself is a sports trash talking app focusing on the game within the game. At Quicken Loans, I was a part of many different projects varying in all different fields. My main project dealt with designing and building a creative and sustainable communication platform for project info and project updates within the company. My other projects dealt with government and investor policy, research, analyzing data, redesigning websites and apps, and tons of meetings to accomplish all of this.

I met with on-campus influential leaders and talk to them about their plans for the upcoming year. I also talked to them about my experiences in Israel and everything I have witnessed with my own eyes. Israel is more than what you see on the news, it is memories. That is the statement that I liked to say a lot to kind of explain what we do. We also sent students from all around the United States every December to Israel for free. The idea was that they could witness what is going on in the Middle East in their own eyes. This internship has taught me how to communicate and deal with a variety of different issues to achieve an ultimate goal. Some of these goals include helping a community program get funding, partnering with different organizations in different community events, or even just learning to understand a market and how to communicate effectively to certain people.
