For the last 12+ years I have been working with RnD, Regulatory Qualification and Manufacture of high tech products products. Leading large multinational teams from UK, US, S.Korea, China and Vietnam.The last 3 years have seen me not just running the UK RnD business unit but also being a key consultant to our RnD facilities in South Korea, Vietnam and China with foster excellence, at scale, but leveraging a lower cost environment.Some of the biggest hurdles for these products are maintaining costs in a highly competitive environment, whilst also maintaining high standards and aggressive timescales required by the customer. As part of the steering committee for the programme team I have managed to grow the joint development model with a lead customer from 1 project per year to 5/y and targeting for 8/y within the next two years.I have been instrumental in improving FMEA processes, onboarding new talent and fostering the core team. Which I have achieved via grass roots initiatives into universities near our manufacturing sites.
