Jonny is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 10 years experience working with Thomas & Thomas, predominantly in the London area covering a wide range of consultancy services to the residential and commercial sectors.Specialisms include party walls, project management, commercial due diligence, and asset/portfolio management. Jonny is a National Treasurer and London committee member and fellow of the Pyramus & Thisbe Society, where he plays an active role in organising education events to members.Jonny plays an active role in the promotion of best practice in the industry, most recently being part of the working group developing the new RICS guidance note on party wall legislation and procedure. As part of this process, Jonny has spoken nationally on this topic at RICS roadshows. Jonny has also presented on a range of topics at industry events such as Grand Designs Live.Trained in the British Army as a design draughtsman and combat engineer for the Corps of Royal Engineers and has experience with military construction.
