During my tenure as Chief Technology Officer and IT Manager at Factory Mind S.C., I successfully led a multicultural team of analysts, programmers, and IT PhD candidates in developing enterprise-level software solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technologies.Thanks to our close partnership with Microsoft (achieved by an active contribution), I participate in prominent international conferences such as the annual //Build conf hosted by Microsoft USA. Additionally, I have taken part in significant EU/USA conferences organized by Google and Apple, focusing on mobile technologies.My responsibilities included defining the architectural and technological choices of enterprise projects, as well as presenting and drafting detailed technical documentation, such as UML diagrams, BPMN, ERD, and Gantt charts, ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality constraints.I adopted Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools and Agile approaches like Scrum and eXtreme programming, coordinating the execution of various tests to ensure the quality / security of developed solutions.Furthermore, I managed the selection and training of new team members, motivating workgroups, and consistently aligning stakeholders on project progress.I developed and implemented performance monitoring and High Availability (24/7) systems on both cloud and on-premises infrastructures, adopted as company standards for managing production facilities distributed across 4 continents.In response to our clients' needs in the field of Industry 4.0, in 2015, we founded a new company specialized in managing projects related to low-level software, such as firmware, PLC software, and interaction with field devices.Recently, we have successfully integrated AI solutions into our clients' software applications, significantly enhancing their performance and quality. Additionally, my expertise in Cybersecurity has been leveraged to enhance the quality and security of software developed for our clients.

I coordinated and implemented applications spanning a wide range of technologies offered by Microsoft, including .NET Core, ASP.NET, WEB API, C#, Entity Framework, and Typescript, leveraging functionalities provided by platforms like Windows Azure. I also adopted languages and frameworks such as Python, Javascript (with Angular and Knockout), HTML5, CSS3, and mobile development technologies like Android, iOS, and Xamarin, tailoring solutions to meet specific client needs.This role exposed me to various application domains, allowing me to deepen my understanding of popular database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle DB, and PostgreSQL, while also considering the emerging influences of NoSQL databases like MongoDB and CouchDB.In my daily work, I became familiar with cutting-edge development tools, including Visual Studio, Webstorm, Eclipse, XCode, SQL Server Management Studio, and Toad. Additionally, I effectively managed code versioning using tools like Microsoft TFS, SVN, and GIT, harnessing the benefits of shared online repositories like Visual Studio Online to manage all stages of the software lifecycle, from gathering requirements to software release.

I deepened my knowledge of JSF technology and the Struts 2.0 framework (Java), successfully applying them to the development of applications in the welfare sector, particularly in redefining software related to the Single Booking Center promoted by GPI.

I developed a web-based development platform accessible directly from a common browser, aimed at creating Web mashups. This tool enables the composition of web applications using an intuitive and simple graphical interface, allowing the combination of data and functionalities from various web sources such as Google Maps, Yahoo Search, and other web services.The innovativeness of this project attracted the interest of SAP China, which concluded the acquisition of the developed solution. During this period, I autonomously managed a development team consisting of five university students on internship at the University of Trento, coordinating them in extending and integrating new functionalities into the platform.

During my university journey, I was involved in creating and maintaining websites for the Department of Mathematics and the CNR section of the University of Trento. For this, I used the Joomla CMS and developed some custom modules in PHP, also handling the graphical aspect through CSS.Later on, I expanded my experience by creating various websites and developing simple management software for hotels and associations. In these activities, I employed several programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, and PHP.
