I am still operating as Mortgage Adviser under the MAB network, but more recently as a Ltd company as opposed to a sole trader.

I am a self-employed mortgage and protection specialist.

I met clients face -to-face as a mortgage adviser, predominantly in the new build sector of the industry.

I was a predominantly telephone based mortgage and protection adviser. This is where I gained my qualifications and experience before moving on.

At first, I attended a PC World in Teesside as a representative for Hewlett Packard. My role was to engage with customers looking to purchase a laptop and to recommend HP products based on their computing requirements.My aim was to approach as many people as possible and engage in many conversations in order to drive HP sales and to promote awareness of the benefits of buying HP.I also ensured that the products are properly merchandised and that retail conditions, stock levels and sales figures are reported back to my field manager at the end of the shift.I recently received recognition for the highest volume of sales in the region, consisting of around 25 stores.During this employment I have also presented new products to school children during the HP annual "Children @ Work" day. Plus, I have worked as a Regional Field Sales Manager where i would be responsible for visiting PC World, Staples and Tesco stores in order to collect evidence and report promotional activity, competitor activity , staff training, display layouts and currently stocked items.I currently visit various stores across the North-East and Yorkshire in order to promote HP Instant Ink service by training staff, ensuring displays are correctly merchandised and by making customers, staff and store managers aware of the new proposition and the benefits to each party. I also report sales, stock levels and customer/staff feedback to my Tactical Field Manager.
