Message RetentionImplemented a retention storage solution in AWS using SQS/S3/ElasticSearch. Developed a data flow using Apache NiFi that accepts messages from SES, unbundles Journal Reports and stores messages along with Envelope-Part in S3 and indexes in ElasticSearch. Messages are then sent to ATHENA for potential surveillance. Metrics integrated with DataDog for monitoring. ATHENA - eCommunications SurveillanceFidelity has a regulatory requirement to supervise eCommunications for registered broker-dealers and investment advisors. Currently, over 15,000 employees utilizing 13 eChannels resulting in over 200 million eCommunications must be monitored annually. With the potential regulatory requirement to monitor internal eCommunications and expanded use of social media by employees, the volume of items requiring supervision will continue to increase. Failure to properly supervise eCommunications can result in significant regulatory fines.Develop a custom platform called ATHENA that improves the discovery and prevention of eCommunication violations and mitigates risks related to compliance, regulatory and corporate policy infractions.Technical Lead on ATHENA team distributed between Chennai, Westlake USA, Smithfield USA, and Dublin Ireland. Design and implement core components of ATHENA using Spring Boot Framework, AngularJS, OAuth2, JMS (ActiveMQ). All core components expose functionality as REST services. Attivio workflow used to tag messages and store in the Attivio index. Oracle used to store audit history.Feed EngineArchitect and Design a solution to validate external and internal feed files. Create an OAuth 2 Authorization Server supporting face and voice biometric authentication. Use an Android application to perform biometric capture and receive authentication requests via Google Cloud Messaging. Architect, design and build a new product called eTrust Identity Services showcased at Cartes 2012. The goal of the web application is to show the use of government-issued eID cards to securely sign a generated tax declaration, birth certificate and update medical data for storage on the eID card. In addition, we wanted to show how the eID card could be used to open a bank account and to facilitate eCommerce transactions.
