Jono Lester is a professional racing driver with motorsport in his blood. A third generation racer from a family with over 50 years in the sport, Jono’s career spans more than two decades, during which time he's competed globally at the wheel of Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, Lamborghini, McLaren, BMW, Aston Martin, Audi and Ford machinery to name a few. A plant based athlete, animal welfare advocate and environmentalist; Jono is capable of dramatically improving awareness through high engagement with Kiwi drivers and fans of all ages. In addition to Jono’s driving talents, he is an experienced motorsport television commentator, corporate speaker and an entertaining event MC with the unique ability of sharing his personal experiences from the level of focus and commitment it takes to make it on the international circuit to team work in one of the most intense and high pressure work environments.By extension, Jono channels his expertise into DriveNZ, a Health & Safety focussed advanced driver training provider and family business he co-owns with father Richard. Off the road and track, Jono is active in the Web3 space, particularly the burgeoning GameFi sector in his role as Growth Lead for Bounty Temple and Orasis Studio; the developers behind the pioneering Play-To-Earn EVOLUTION (P2EE) model for mobile games.
