In a cross-disciplinary research group between mechanical engineering and exercise science I studied how mechanical vibrations effect the human body. In this capacity I designed an experiment that has published findings on how vibrational stimuli applied to jaw and facial muscles reduced muscle stiffness and improved symptoms in patients with TMJ disorders.
