Member of an emergency preparedness program called Safe Campus Project, achieving an increase in student well-being for 1,500 alumni within a year, managing data analytics and coordinating administrative tasks leading towards strengthened project development.Highlights:• Develop and co-manage the first Solidarity Store in any university of the Caribbean where students can obtain goods in exchange for voluntary service.• Design all the data recollection tools used to generate summary statistics and insights for the Safe Campus Project.• Coordinate contract drafting, analysis of budget availability and generation of financial encumbrances and requisitions.• Provide emergency management training, food vouchers and academic support.

Collaborated on strategies that encouraged the permanency of students within the institution by analyzing student profiles and retention data to predict desertion factors.Highlights:• Led an increase in proactive aid for students to resolve issues of academic, professional or personal nature by working together with faculty and campus services to examine their cases, advise accordingly and refer for appropriate aid.• Strengthened faculty integration with retention policies by training them about referral system procedures and on how to identify desertion risk factors in students.

Provided assistance to social workers through analytical insight, data recollection and visualization while also conducting interviews and evaluations through the Integral Human Development Program.Highlights:• Redesigned reports, using Microsoft Excel, to gather, account and visualize manually handled data by simplifying documentation structure and incorporating dynamic tables, formulas and interactive charts.• Optimized the content of main survey forms by achieving a consistent design and assessing validity of questions, resulting in an increase of accuracy for recollected data.• Interviewed low-income families around Puerto Rico to assess eligibility for aid on a case-by-case basis.• Supplied emergency aid to over 2,000 families following the impact of Hurricane María in 2017.
