When photographing live events I put most of my focus on showing both the grandeur and the most memorable moments of the night. Many photographers in this field tend to focus on the microsims that exsits within these events. While these types of photographs can be used for simple social media programs they can have a tendcy to become lost in the crowd of similar photographs. By taking a different approach it allows not just for pictures that stand out but also as a way for you events to show that they are in fact larger than life.Effective stock photography is a new project that I have started to do. While the market does some to be flooded, many of these photos tend to have a limited amount of use. Some of this has to do with subject at hand but a lot of it has do with poor use of the negative space. I am currently developing a style that would allow for companies to easily customize an image so they can reuse it again and again instead of only buying it for a one time deal.

Blog writing is generally viewed as writing that is geared more towards the individual as opposed to proper news reporting. I used the methods that you apply with blog writing while also using the research needed to properly investigate a topic. This was a good experience into how the world of digital media functions and how it differs from more traditional forms of journalism.

I took a different approach to management while I was here. The workers who I managed I would rotate between different jobs. The more familiar that everyone become with each others work the easier it was to make better use of resources. Instead of having to have a big crew to manage the night a smaller crew could be used which helped in lowering the budget. This also allowed for us to set up more events since we had more workers who could work on their own.I also set up a method where bands would be able to network with other groups that where already established in the scene. This benefit helped out everyone by increasing the following of each group which in turn aided in increasing the size of the audience that where attending.
